HEEEERE’S DOBBY!Well in advance of The Chamber of Secrets' release day, 5 June 2002 to be precise, Warner Bros. cast the first marketing spell with an official teaser poster. Click here to see the poster. in the frameThe important character Dobby the house elf dominates the poster, beneath the single strapline: “Dobby has come to warn you, Sir.” what do we think of dobby?Bootleg trailer pics aside, this was our first look at Dobby. In fact he looks all right in the poster, a little greyer than I expected. Seeing him moving in the trailer though was very odd. Dobby looks old and frail. I'd imagined him to be a lively, cute, excitable tyke, but he is pasty, hunched and, frankly, not easy on the eyes. Oh-oh, I'm going to have to paraphrase Daphne and Celeste: U-G-L-Y, He ain't got no alibi, He ugly, Hey, hey, He ugly! Look!
